Here is the last entry plus mine (since I'm the judge I will not be officially entered of course)-
Annie B.-
I am one of the original SHM participants and I was doing awesome at my training and did two 5K's. Although my running was always at a slow and steady pace, I found myself enjoying every minute of it! Then it hit like a ton of bricks...I was pregnant...again! My fourth pregnancy started off to a great start eating healthy and exercising regularly. I continued using the SHM rules, if you will, and didnt eat after 7 and stayed away from junk and sweets as much as those cravings would allow. I only gained 15 lbs. I repeat 15lbs. I am very proud of that if you cant tell. So I give you these before and after pictures to enter the contest but to also give a before I start this round of fun filled weight loss!!! Heres to 25 lbs lighter!

Annie
Annie's fourth baby is now 1 month old. I think she is looking great! 15 pounds is unbelievable. Annie was one of the original Hot Mommas and so excited about the whole adventure. We would meet every Sat morning at 8:00 and run with a few other people. We started out totally happy and excited to run 1 mile and gradually built it up. Annie ran 5.5 miles (I think her longest before she got pregnant) and way before any of the rest of us could run that far. In fact, she would go to the track at 6 am and then again at 8 pm - crazy. She is not lying when she says she was "slow and steady". I remember running with her one day and Emily and I were wanting to go a little faster, but not wanting to leave her alone so we slowed and ran the Annie pace. Some cyclists passed us and one of them said "I didn't know they let people go that slow on the trail." Of course we all just laughed because we were going totally slow but really we were so happy to just be moving our bodies again and out exercising that we didn't care what we looked like on that trail we were just stoked to be there. Way to go Annie! Glad to have you back! (but hate that you are gonna KILL me in the weight loss points - MAN!)
So here is YOUR CHEERLEADER'S Before and After:
I have to say it all started well....it was in the works and building up for quit a while actually. I really did used to be a cheerleader all through school (and a professional one for a bit after school). I have been blessed with pretty good genes and haven't had to worry much about my size until baby number 2. That just killed me. I blamed it on the pregnancy. My husband blamed it on the full size bag of Doritos I could and would down all by myself. I did manage to shed most (but not all) of #2's weight and then came #3. The weight didn't budge. (Well it would wiggle and jiggle if you nudged it) but it didn't come off. So when we had family photos made and #3 was 1 yr I was horrified by the way I looked in the photos. I thought it was just disgusting. My husband (trying to be supportive - yet realistic like he usually is) says " that's what you look like. It's not bad, but it is the way you look." Well that hurt. I didn't get all huffy or pouty or anything, but deep inside it hurt because I knew he was right. He was just telling me the truth. So the "kind" photographer says to me "oh I can play with the photo a little and when I get done you will be happy with it." Yeah right. When we got the prints back I said I thought he was going to make me look skinnier (I tend to put weight in my face - not good for photos). My husband says "He did." Well just smack me in the face again. So after that I had a month to 6 weeks of self-pitty and I then went into action. I mean real action. Since last March I have worked out on average 5-6 days a week for at least an hour each time. Even when I couldn't run yet I would walk/run/walk/run/walk/walk for an hour on the treadmill. I just stuck to it, and you remember those pounds that wouldn't budge - well they budged (all 20 of them!) and said "Adios"! I said "Good ridance!". So here are a few pictures for you. One of my pants that I wore before(they look like I stuck tree trunks in them - they are capri which explains the length - the width.....well.....) and the breakfast food I used to make and enjoy. The after shots are all the clothes I wear now. Check it out!! 5 race t-shirts, numbers, a race hat, and a medal for being a rock star and running a half!! (and I wear that medal all the time - HAH!) I was a rock star! I ran that bad boy in 8 1/2 minute miles with only 7 months of running to my name - EVER!! And here are a few shots of awesome workout gear that I wear almost every day to work out and to my aerobics class that I AM FINALLY TEACHING!! YEAH ME!! and BTW my husband says I'm SMOKIN' and I don't need no dang photographer to take pudge off MY FACE! So how 'bout them apples?!!
